KENYA ROYAL SAFARI
ITINERARY DAY 01, TUESDAY: NAIROBI Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and transferred to the Norfolk Hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure or choose from a selection of optional excursions (book and pay locally).Overnight at the Norfolk Hotel or similar on bed and breakfast basis.
 DAY 02, WEDNESDAY:  ABERDARES After breakfast drive north through the rich farming areas arriving at the Aberdare Country Club or similar in time for lunch (180 kms). After lunch transfer to the Ark or similar in the lodges own vehicle with overnight bags (main luggage          is stored at the Aberdare Country Club for collection the following day). Afternoon at leisure to enjoy excellent views of animals visiting the waterhole from the observation platforms of the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the Ark or similar.
DAY 03, THURSDAY: SAMBURU After breakfast return to the Aberdare Country Club to collect left luggage and continue further north to the semi-arid and rugged landscape of Samburu National Reserve (220 kms). After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Ashnil Samburu Camp or similar.
DAY 04, FRIDAY: SAMBURU Early morning and late afternoon game-drives enable you to see wildlife unique to this arid yet beautiful part of Kenya. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at the Ashnil Samburu Camp or similar.
DAY 05, SATURDAY: MOUNT KENYA After breakfast drive to the slopes of Mount Kenya arriving in time for lunch (170 kms). Rest of the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the clubs various facilities. Dinner and overnight at the Mount Kenya Safari Club or similar. NB dress code at the Mount Kenya Safari Club is smart casual. Children are not allowed in the dinning area after 1900 hrs.
DAY 06, SUNDAY: MASAI MARA After breakfast transfer to the nearby Nanyuki airstrip for a scheduled flight by light aircraft (maximum baggage allowance 15 kgs) to the Masai Mara Game Reserve (approximately 1 ½ hrs). On arrival at the airstrip met and transferred to the Mara Safari Club or similar for lunch. In the afternoon proceed on a game-drive through one of the worlds greatest game reserves. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Safari Club or similar. NB game-drives in the Mara are conducted by the resident driver/guides in the camps own 4X4WD vehicles and a window seat cannot be guaranteed.
DAY 07, MONDAY: MASAI MARA An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or take an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the camp. Rest of the morning at leisure at the camp. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Safari Club or similar.
DAY 08, TUEDAY: DEPART After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled flight by light aircraft (maximum baggage allowance 15 kgs) to Nairobi (approximately 45 minutes). Met on arrival at the airport before proceeding with your chosen extension or return home.

After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Samburu Serena Lodge or similar.
DAY 03, WEDNESDAY OR MONDAY: SAMBURU Early morning and late afternoon game-drives enable you to see wildlife unique to this arid yet beautiful part of Kenya. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at the Samburu Serena Lodge or similar.
DAY 04, THURSDAY OR TUESDAY: MOUNT KENYA After breakfast drive to the slopes of Mount Kenya and check-in at Serena Mountain Lodge (240 kms). Spend the afternoon viewing game from the lodge or join a nature walk (weather permitting) led by a local guide. Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge or similar.
DAY 05, FRIDAY OR WEDNESDAY: LAKE NAKURU/LAKE NAIVASHA After breakfast drive into the Great Rift Valley to the Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch (240 kms). Enjoy a late afternoon game-drive in the           park host to flamingoes and the endangered rhinos among other big game species along the lakes shore. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Nakuru Lodge or Lunch & game drive in Nakuru with overnight at Lake Naivasha/Lake Elementaita Lodge
DAY 06, SATURDAY OR THURSDAY: MASAI MARA After an early breakfast drive to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving at the Mara Serena Lodge or similar with lunch and a game-drive en route (370 kms). Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge or similar.
DAY 07, SUNDAY OR FRIDAY: MASAI MARA An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or take an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge or similar.
