has been operating out of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania since 1988. The management has
extensive experience in Air Charter in
East Africa that span several decades and their experienced team
of pilots and engineers has been selected among the best in East Africa.
Coastal
developed the “Scheduled Flying Safari”, thus offering the opportunity, to
small parties and single persons, to join into an adventure which would
otherwise have prohibitive costs. Their operation covers Tanzania, but they do
also fly to nearby countries and on occasion all the way to South Africa.
Their fleet consists of aircraft ranging from small three seaters they use for
very private Flying Safaris, like honeymooners, to large (12 seats) turbine
aircraft with high wings, to enjoy a better panoramic view. Of course our
business is tourism based, but they do make available our aircraft, especially
the faster ones, to people and organizations for emergency flights. In a region
where transportation and communications are often
difficult Coastal performs a service of good value.

The
Piper PA-28 Cherokee is a light aircraft that were designed for flight training,
air taxi and personal use and are built by Piper Aircraft. All members of the
PA-28 family are all-metal, four-seat, single-engine piston-powered airplanes
with low-mounted wings and tricycle landing gear. The PA-28 aircraft have a
single door on the co-pilot side.

The Cessna
208B Grand Caravan
The
Cessna 208B Grand Caravan is a reliable, strong, powerful and an accommodating
workhorse in every way. With many configurations in the cabin, the Caravan can
be outfitted with seats or cargo holds. The standard high-density airline
configuration features four rows of 1-2 seating behind the two seats in the
cockpit. This variant is capable of holding up to thirteen passengers. It also
features an under-belly cargo pod, which can be used for additional freight
